This week’s song, Morning Light, was primarily inspired by Psalm 30. The truth of David’s words here is very real to me. I have experienced many a night when I couldn’t sleep and out of nowhere, felt dark doubts and fears trying to overtake my mind.

My beloved mom went home to Jesus in the summer of 2013. As I grieved, I was reminded once again how short life on this earth really is. Yet, as this song says, “after a thousand years, You (God) will be with me for all eternity.” What a comfort this is! What a hope we have as Christians! I especially want to offer this song to those who have lost a loved one recently.
